Even after a long tussle, the same result came which was expected on the result day itself. Who will become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra? The ongoing suspense regarding this question has ended today. Devendra Fadnavis has been elected leader in the BJP legislature party meeting.  The leader of the legislative party was selected in the presence of Union Observer Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. After the election of the leader of the legislative party, today the three leaders of Mahayuti have reached Raj Bhavan to meet the Governor and will stake claim to form the government. After this, the historic oath taking ceremony will take place at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on 5th December. Devendra Fadnavis addressed the MLAs after being elected leader in the BJP legislature party meeting. During this, he expressed gratitude to the party MLAs including observer Nirmala Sitharaman, Vijay Rupani. He also expressed his thanks and gratitude to the BJP high command. Reiterating the slogan given during the elections, Fadnavis said that if there is one, it is safe and if there is Modi, it is possible. Devendra Fadnavis said that after the huge mandate, we have a huge responsibility. We have to keep working continuously for the public. We are pursuing a bigger goal in politics.  Thanks to Prime Minister Modi for making me the Prime Minister. A new India is being prepared under the leadership of PM Modi.
